Prempeh “Glory5ied”
Prempeh College, also known as The ‘Amanfuo’ has been crowned the champions of the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) after attaining a substantial victory over the ‘odade3s’(Presec boys) and the ‘Dzoloalians (Keta SHTS) in the final contest.
The much touted phrase ‘seven a living God’ by the Presbyterian Boys Secondary School did not materialise as God, instead decided to ‘Glory5’ Prempeh College.
Stonebwoy wins AFRIMA
Ghanaian dancehall artist, Stonebwoy has won his fourth AFRIMA awards. The dancehall artiste emerged as the winner of the “Best Artiste” award, the “Duo/Group” award, the “African Reggae” award and the “Ragga & Dancehall” award.
Rocky Dawuni bags a Grammy Nomination
Ghanaian singer, Rocky Dawuni has once again been nominated for the “Best Global Music Album” for the upcoming 2022 Grammy Awards. The singer was nominated alongside artists such as Angelique Kidjo, Daniel Ho & friends, Femi Kuti, Made Kuti and Wizkid. Wizkid was also nominated for the “Best Global Music Perfomance” award for “Essence,” his collaborative song with Tems. The singer was also nominated alongside artists such as Burna Boy and Tems; this makes Tems the first Nigerian Woman artist to be nominated for a Grammy Award.
